    Carbon fiber project

over the weekend I attempted my long awaited Carbon fiber project. I am sure I got the formula right but the end product just didn't come out as I excepted. The clear gel coat became some what opaque even after increment of sanding up to 2000.

I have concluded it is my application of gelcoat, next I will try spraying technique instead of brushing. I do not dare to waste any more carbon until I have proper equipments.

anyways here are pics for kicks.

exactly what i was thinkin! lol

nice work man. I'm sure that you will find the right mix soon enough. you can always try coating something else with the gel coat until you get the mixture right. loving the work though. epic.
