    It can't be...can it?

As far as I can tell, I've acquired a rather loud and annoying constant whirring sound coming from my rear left wheel. The pitch gets higher as my speed increases and I THINK that it goes away when I turn left with force. I ruled out the possibility of it being a bearing problem, simply because the rears were done only a small while ago; however now I'm not so sure.

Anyone care to shed any light? Would my bearing be a dud? (Bearing is OEM purchased from GAP)

or maybe the bearing was installed incorrectly? wasn't packed well maybe...

def sounds like a wheel bearing issue to me.

Sometimes these things just fail for no other reason than that it is tuesday. I'd be leaning towards bearing

Hmm maybe I can pin it on the guy that pressed the races for me. Ray and I went back a second time to ask him to seat the races properly cause we could both see gaps, and he came back with some rant about hitting metal when it's solid "it makes a THUNK sound, very strong, no more gap".

would be a bearing...happens all the time.

actually, changing the races can be done by yourself with a hammer and a nice drift that is a bit soft - brass is great.
