dropped all the way down? if so you'll have to remove the door trim.

if not grab the window from both sides with your palms and push up at the same time as pressing up on the button.

    works for me.

    I'll second that.

When my driver's window went it dropped all the way down, but the pulley wired caught the regulator for an instant (I was playing with it trying to get it to work) and it popped into view. I grabbed it and applied upward pressure with my palm when I had enough window, while pressing the button, managed to get the window to slide up and stay in place...

Every situation's different. ALL are painful

With the trim off, it's a piece of cake. Just make sure you have a helper and a lump of timber handy (to keep the window from falling back down)...

    I feel for ya

    anyone else have any ideas?

does the waterpump just stop working or does it gradually die? would it be more likely to be a relay? does anyone know which relay it is?

    Hey MK3

When you changed your water pump, how did you get the old one out?

I need to change mine as the seal is leaking but can see what i need to do to remove it
Everyone is saying drop the motor but how?
Also do new waterpumps come with the pulley & if not are they difficult to remove

    Cheers

are you still having issues with the rear window?

one of mine is jammed up due to the regulator dying, to get the window up, get some pliers and a chamois, place the chamois over the glass to protect it and pull the window up and jam it with some rubber wedges.

its about $150 or so for a new regulator.
