they will indeed
remember to do the headwork and what not to get there full potential tho
Evening Gentz,
With the AU$ booming at the moment i was looking to get some more bang for my buck.
My question is.... "will CAM's from the US fit our AU spec 2.0L 8v AGG engine?"
Ive been looking at TT, Autotech, Neuspeed and the such.... but im relucatant to make the purchase without being sure it will fit or not.
Has anyone fitted a set on their 2.0L AGG?
Would be interesting to find out what some of you guys are running on your 2.slo Mk3's
they will indeed
remember to do the headwork and what not to get there full potential tho

hey chris,
Sweeeeet! thats for the feedback mate...
By the way what do you mean by do all the 'headwork'?
What are you running on your mk3 mate?
Has anyone had any experiences with the US cams? Good, bad??
I run a TT 268° cam it makes the valves go up and down OK.
Not sure if your EFI would cope with that - my motor is a little different to most.

my mk3 is a vr6
but for my old mk4 2L sport i had a neuspeed cam and adjustable cam gear from the u.s
and by head work i mean Port & polish, headgasket (more compression) & exhaust and induction
Yes it is costly but its the only way you will really feel a performance gain
but no you dont NEED the above stated products but to get anything out of the cam you need them
( it would be like putting $500 dollar runners on a fat lazy guy, they would look the biz and he could brag about having them but he wont run any faster lmao )
unfortunatly it is hard & expencive to get a N/A power gains
