Mate unfortunately it was probably not worth it for an interstate car which is pretty shattering BUT the look is still on!

The SA car I looked at today was mech very good but paint was poor and price of $8900 was not going to budge. Vendor had heaps of interest and had already been offered 8 and was waiting to hear from someone that would pay the asking if they got finance.

Never realised these things kept their value. Saying that everything worked and the electric sunroof and leather trim was a nice touch. I couldn't not put cams in one of these the torque was falling off above 5K rpm. Jumped back in the valver with it's shorter gearing and felt hectic in comparison.

We found a nice vr6 and put a deposit on it today

96 model, 158ks (country), very good condition, leather interior, service history, air con compressor recently replaced, heater and windows working.

Never realised these things kept their value.

They were round $45,000 when new, so keeping their value is quite subjective really
