That was my question/guess as well. For the price I saw on it, I assumed there would be many, many problems...

I can't tell the difference betweeen my first and third, except for when I use the gearstick, and of course because first gear pulls like a plane! Is there any way to fix that 'sloppy' 'gear selector' problem? I'd love to have a stiffer gear system..

Get all of the linkage bushings replaced. Cost me about $150 on my GL and it was so much nicer after that.

It was in a terrible state, in which it probably needed about 3g (minimum) to fix a numerous amount of minor problems. I have read about VR6's having complications on air conditioning, the heater and etc but this had way too many (it was up for 7 and he was willing to take 5!). Rego ran out in feb, reversed into a pole, so the rear bumper needed replacing and the back left door did not open. Im really keen on buying a VR6 (one positive that this car had was the fantastic VR6 engine sound!) is there anyone who knows someone who is selling one (preferrably in NSW) or somewhere I can look apart from trading post, drive, carsales and etc? It would be greatly appreciated.
Hey mate - what about the white one that was FS at the nats? That looked pretty imac... Low k's to 56k I think from memory.

    He was asking $14K!

Check out the one listed in WA in the Dub Tub section. From pics it looks good and has decent mileage!

There was a green one in the Eastern suburbs with the same millage around 59,000km, went for $10500, I wanted to pick it up but realised how much of a stupid an idea it would be to sell my GL
