1E is Mk3 Cabriolet.
1H is Mk3 everything else.
Not sure what the XO is.
Im trying to buy a set of coilovers, I have found a set that says suites All mk3 golf. I have a 94 VR6 and just want to make sure these will fit before I buy them this is what its says.
Part fits to
Volkswagen Golf 3 type 1H / 1HXO / 1E / 1EXO, year *09/91 - 09/97
without Syncro and variant
all engines
I just don't understand the 1h 1hxo 1e 1exo part.

Thanks man so they should fit?
If they say they'll fit a mk2 or mk3 then they'll fit. All the same.
Try fitting 4cyl front springs in a vr6,too soft and too low.Make sure the fronts are for a vr6.

Thanks guys I asked and they said it was fine for vr6, so ill see what happens.
After playing with GL Golf, VR6 Golf, GL Vento, VR6 Vento, GL cabby, they do vary quite a bit, Vento/cab are heavy in the butt, VR6 heavy in the front. But yeah like APRR32 said, just double check those front ones. Then again if they have enough adjustment it doesn't really matter, my car is heavier in the front and back, but has Ray's GL's old coilovers in it and can go to 4WD height and Hannah Montana low.
