    Brake Upgrade HELP!!!

Ok guys need your help, bought a set of slotted brakes, a pretty easy DIY, put the two fronts in without any probs, but when installing the rears, i cant get the calipers back on, because of the newer rotors the caliper doesnt want to go back in...
i know i need to push the piston back into the boar, ive tried using a c-clamp, but had no luck apparently i need to turn the piston as well as push it in at the same time....
i need to buy somthing like this.. http://www.getprice.com.au/LISLE-REA...--31462687.htm
but as you can see, i dont really want to spend that much for it....

does anyone know how i can push back the piston by using anything else??

    Thanks
    Benny

Yeah you should be able to get one of these universal tools from repco or supercheap.

Goes on the end of a 1/2" extension.

These ones are easier to use but you pay a lot more for them.

I usually just find a scrap piece of steel and make up a tool. I think last time I used the tool I have for removing the oil filler neck on a beetle. Who wold have guessed that would work?

Repco or Trade tools can get you a good one for a good price from ABW. Thats the one i got and does the job very well and has a 17 nut head. This way you can get a 1/2 inch ratchet and socket and you loads of purchase. Think from memory it cost me $105 and has paid for itself 100 times over

no seriously careful use of some decent multigrips also works... note i said CAREFUL use of DECENT multigrips.
