    Brake problem.

    heres one for yas.

    My front left caliper appears to be hitting the disk, at the top outer edge.
    The outer pad also doesn't sit correctly. Its like the whole caliper is twisted on the sliders. The mounts to the hub on the carrier are fine and tight, but its just not positioning the caliper right. How could this have happened? surly a single piston caliper and a 1.1 tonne car couldn't bend the caliper sliders.

    No idea, but vr6's are 1350kg not 1100.

    Mate you have worn protective sleeves for guide pins by the sounds, available via VW mate. You may also have somne build up on the discs??? or of course the disc may be warped
