Hi SAS, imho 3/10. It was not awkward and I did not have to bench bleed when I installed mine. GL with it. Regards
master cylinder in the 2.0l is shot, new one on the way, whats the pain in the arse rating of the job out of 10?
more awkward than actually hard I'm guessing......
do I need to bench bleed it or not worry?

done and dusted today, if I had of been game enough to pry the plastic reservoir off before I removed it, it would have been a piece of cake.
with the reservoir in place it was difficult to access the hard line closest to the vac booster, but not impossible.
didn't bench bleed, as I wanted to install the master and then attach the reservoir, bled up fine anyway.
took the opportunity to replace a couple of rubber vacuum lines while I was in there.....from start to finish in about 4.5hrs which I was fairly happy with, as I had cleared 2 days in case it all turned to a big pile of ****.

Well done.
I ended up getting my mechanic to replace the brake lines and bled the brake fluid on the Vento yesterday for me even though it should be a job I can do myself because I am time and workshop poor.
