How on gods green earth would you know? If you pay for quality then you are going to pay more if you pay for things like your leaky cheap BOV of course your going to to get a good price

Obviously for all of those things to get painted and what he got quoted thats alot! Last October I painted my front guard, 2 front quarter panels, grille, bonnet and my rear hatch for $1000! The hatch included work in cutting and welding new metal to it.

there is a guy here in tas (Ding-go he is called) located in Devonport (i know thats no to you help hahaha) but he removes dent like that buy drilling a small hole and pops it out using different levers and sticks. He is F**king awesome at his job. and charges $60 a panel, no matter how many dents on that panel. Ive used him and my old man works for Mitshubishi *cough* and gets him to thier cars all the time.

in your case he would go from underneath the bonnet and drill the hole near the dent. pop it out and put a gromet in place. ok not entirely a clean finish but if the hole is located somewhere where nobody can see it than why not.

anyone around where your located that can do that kinda work??

He probably is getting a good job done but thats alot of money to do that. The bonnet is probably about what I would pay for something like that but not for the rest!

he said 400 to get d ding out n resprayed..

that sounds about right tho.. they will get the ding out, not bog it up.. also they have to respray the whole bonnet.

On average a panel will cost about $200 give or take for a panel beater to repair thats what they roughly charge.

doors are expensive cos there is a lot of labour in removing the trims and door handles.
