A bit of a weird problem!

    Hey guys

that little computer in tha dash that shows clock, km, km/h, lt per 100, opil temp and outside temp, is playing up. when i push the mfa button when the car is completely cold it scrolls through fine...when the car warms up to correct operating temp the button will not work!!! even once the car is left for about 4-6 hours the button still doesn't work. when left overnight until the car is completely cold then it works again...any ideas?? and i think the outside temp is picking up something wrong...its saying 50 most of the time wtf!

and also my cruise comtrol worked perfectly fine before the accident i had but now when i push the set button i just hear a click in the fuse box and nothing happens

    hoping someone has some answers

    Cheers Stu

The temp prob is basically a resistor. When the resistor is fully open (ie nothing plugged in), the MFA will skip it as 'knows' that's not a valid reading. When it's fully closed (ie the wires are shorted) thats the highest temp it can read, which as it happens is 50C...

It's very unlikely that this sensor has anything to do with your MFA problem other than the ambient reading 50.

correct me if im wrong but im pritty shore the airpumps are in the corner of where you had the bump (just near the washer bottle)
so i would say that would be the problem for the cruise control
