    Big fail!!

    ok so the time has come where i am sure that my car is about to die, by that i meant blow up hah..
    the latest problem is that on the cluster where the time and odometer reads doesn't work when the car is off untill i turn the car on, and when i put in the key and turn to power only it comes up with a number and i have no idea wtf is means....

    can anyone help me out before i go insane??

    Might be your ignition switch (a $30 part), my cluster did the same until i replaced it. Those numbers relate back to a code which you can reset, try looking for didital tacho on this forum.
    I've had the cluster out also, its not to hard (1hr) except you should take the steering wheel off to do it properly (and proper airbag reset). Might be worth a check to see if the wiring is in properly

    Taking the instrument cluster out takes like less than 10min and you don't need to take the steering wheel of. First time you do it it might be a bit fiddly but next time you'll be doing it quick as.

    Make sure you disconnect the battery before removing airbag and wheel too...
