    The wheels look awesome!!
And also if you do put the VR in the 2-door are you going to do raised motor mounts for more lows???

Thanks. If (well its more like when, I miss the sound so much) I put the vr in, ill probably run a shortened sump and r32 pump again like I did on my old vr. I had fresh stage one mounts and that combination was enough to bring it up above subframe, without raising the engine and losing axle/frame clearance (not that there was any)

Where do you get the shortened sump and r32 pump from usually? Bottomed out on yet another metal speedhump today!

I had a custom shortened steel sump from someone on the Vortex in the US, was a very nice piece of metal! It has to be the mk5 r32 pump and I got that from 1stvwparts for like $180.

In other news, failed a second roadworthy today. Its pretty ****ty. It passed in NSW before I bought it. May complain to the dealer/mechanics who passed it.

Same people - or a different guy? Whats the fail points now? I dont know if I will be able to get my car a safety certificate here either which apparently I need to transfer the rego to qld rego? Coils and pretty low, small tear in the drivers seat will probably fail me!

Different people. People I know where a little more lenient. They got me for different things. Still think 2 tyres are bad, my rear brakes, wiper bladers, handbrake needs adjusting and a crack in the alternator belt. Much cheaper/easier things to fix then an aircompressor and power steering pump/rack along with wheel bearings etc from the other place.

Damn dude, sucks about the roadworthy! Nice progress with the wheels, I want to do something along the lines of that. Love the home-style job.
