This weekends no good for me either but yeah may come down some time.

Am quite happy didn't end up going the mod plate route, and found someone who does mobile inspections up here, they came saturday morning and surely enough, its all good Have already spent way more then I had planned on on this car and all I've done is get it registered. Ohwell. Thats the risk I took buying a car interstate without having it inspected.

Saving for something a little special at the moment

    Pmed.

To be honest, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't 80% set on bagging the thing. But we shall see what happens

    Thanks

Swapped in the vr6 front seats quickly today after work. The ones in the CL were truly aweful. Makes the biggest difference having nice seats. The vr6 ones are height adjustable so dont have to sit so high, and have nice supportive boltsers. Feel much sportier and just generally better. Plus theyre in much nicer condition

Havent looked into how to make the vr6 seats fold to let people into the back, but I don't think it will be to hard. For now if someone wants to get in the back (which is very rare) ill just slide em forward and tell them to deal with it

You can see in the pic how the old seats were like falling apart.

You can take the seats apart and just transfer the foam and fabric over to the foldable seat frame. Only modifying I believe should be just cutting a hole in the fabric to let the thing through on the side. Otherwise, not too hard to do!

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Would I lose the height adjustment then? It wouldn't matter if they sat at a height I liked though I suppose.
I haven't really looked at how any of it works yet. Thanks for the tip though (:

should be able to mix and match bottoms and tops if i recall correctly. All seats can tilt foward, they just don't all have the latch for it. (again, IIRC)

Just make the passenger side tilt and leave the drivers seat as it is. My girlfriends car is a 2 door and only the passenger side tilts fully
