I hear mobile guys are the way to go, and since the car is unregistered it would be so much easier... but unfortunately as far as I can see there are no mobile ones in toowoomba :/
I'm thinking a new approach is needed indeed. Clean up eveything make it all look stock and take it somewhere with a few easy flaws like killingwithasmile suggested.

Hey dude I'm going to Gatton tomorrow to drop some thing up there in the tow truck.. do you want it moved for FREE while i'm up there... happy to help your cause...
-
Thanks for the offer! Don't have anywhere to tow it to though, looks like I'm just going to get the mod plate and get the mechanic it
s already at to just pass it hopefully.
Bringing it down to yours this weekend is definitely out though.

Mate I think you need to find a good mechanic.
Seems you have been getting the run around a fair bit. There has to be someone in T-town that is a little easy considering all the drift cars and commo's that get around there. Where do all your mates take their cars?

Thats ok we can do it another weekend...

Well I've been asking around but haven't been able to find a good mechanic. Most of my friends arent really into cars like myself, so none of them are really any help when it comes to this stuff haha, neither are my family or family friends... Where my car obsession came from when I hadn't been exposed to them anywhere in my life is a real question... haha
The car did have a couple little leaks and apparently those are suppose to be an instant fail, and there are other things like loose seat rails and such which would also be turned down most places, so the one I've got it at is actually not too bad. Plus its next door to my parents business which has a nice little car port I can work on it in and not have to worry about moving an unregistered car around. I've found a guy who'll do the mod plate pretty cheap so I think ill just do that and get it over and done with. Okay thats not entirely true. I'd be more then happy to keep looking for mechanics until it passed, but mum wants her car back and so shes going to pay to have the mod plate done :P

Score... Happy to help man. Let me know if I can do anything. I have some spare Bearing plates for the Suspension if you want them Brand Spankers.. Thought I needed to do mine turns out they are still good.

Had a very successful weekend car wise. Started off with getting the most "laid back" roadworthy you will have ever seen. Then pulled all the wiring and headunit etc from the old car and put it into the new one.

Instead of the original cassete player/radio (not even a cd player....) and the two front speakers (no rear ones in the 2 door...) Its now running my headunit, a 4 very powerfull 4 channel amp with 2 channels pumping the front speakers, and 2 channels bridged to put something like 360W RMS to the sub. Also ran speaker lines from the head unit to the back, where I put in the old parcel shelf support speaker things I had in my old car. Not sure where they came from or if they're rare, but they look oem and sound pretty damn nice!

Yeah theres still a bit of glass on it, need to take the vacuum to them or something.
Tuned it all this afternoon and forgot how damn good it sounds. Ears are ringing something hardcore.
Oh and did I mention it passed roadworthy. ITS FINALLY REGISTERED!@#!@!@##!
Time to make it illegal and unroadworthy >=]
