So true that - matt had a forester with a rex engine in it - VR6 is so much better.
It's still car PMT - all cars have something that just stops for no reason - then starts for no reason..
I'm changing all the leads and plugs in mine soon - i'll post if the problem stops...

it is fairly common for a new to near new vr6 coilpack to fail
one of the main reasons is because its exposed to so much heat, bolted to the side of the engine
a lot of people on vortex have been using this coil pack spacer, id do it if i wasnt running msd!!!

100 for each coil i bought them locally
160 for leads shipped to my door
130 for bracket shipped to my door
i also bought a ballast resistor after my icm shorted out, needed to get another after that happened
and all the connections and wire i used were from work.

Where did you get the coilpack? do you have a receipt. Maybe there is warranty.

Yeah warranty will be fixed up on Monday; just a pain because there's no reason for it to fail...hasn't been exposed to oil leaks or water or anything...

What if I bake it in the oven at like, 50 degrees or something small?
