    Beeping problem

    Hey guys, Ive got another problem whenever the key is in the barrel the car keeps beeping.
    It doesnt stop even when driving, only when I remove the key.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Are you talking about the horn? If so could be you have a bad connection in your wheel. Take the airbag off ( Allen keys on back of wheel) and clean all the terminals back there and see if that sorts it. They get all gunked up with dust!

    haha no its not the horn. I should have described it better. Its a three tone beep that, I think the american vw's make the same noise when you first put the key in.

    you can just pull one of the relays out and it will stop it all the time, ive been meaning to do it for a while, that noise is incredibly annoying, I would probably actually go insane if it didnt stop while I was driving. Not sure which one it is though sorry, im sure a google search would tell you though. Id imagine its just a relay with a speaker on the top of it.

    The beep that happens three times (arppegiated major chord) when you turn on would be the seatbelt riminder.
    Once the engine is on, it'll mean that the driver's door is ajar.
