    BBS 17inch fitment on mk3 VR6 ?

hi everybody, i am looking for a set of BBS rims for sale but i have'nt been able 2 find myself a set for my VR.... So i was searching ebay and found a set of BBS RS replicas from the wheel warehouse for a decent price. My question is what offest should i order ? my brakes are standard 280mm and im waiting for my hottunning coil overs to arrive which i will fit ASAP, i dont want it 2 poke out just want a nice flush fit that wont foul the brakes or my new coil overs. The bloke at wheel warehouse has offered me an offset of 38 or 35 ???? and the rim is a 17 x 7.5 . Any help will be much appreciated ! Just dont want 2 get the wrong offset or have 2 run spacers . Cheers B

32 offset will get you flush with the guards with that width mate

ET32 will sit inside the guards on a 7.5" wheel. ET22 on a 7.5" wheel on VR6 widetrack will sit about flush (front) and ~ET10 on 7.5" (rear).

There might be difficulties on the brake side of things, as the 280mm brakes do require a bit of clearance (for the caliper). Only thing you can do is see if you can get a test fit done by the guys at wheel warehouse before you buy. No width/offset measurements can tell you about brake clearance.

    17x7.5 ET35 is the go.

Thanx guys for the info, i would love to test fit these rims but these guys are not in the Sydney area and i think its an online thing only ??? Im really keen on them its just i want i straight fit with no dramas.... I might have 2 bite the bullet and cross my fingers that they fit and clear the calipers ! I would get a lower offset but these guys only gave me the choice of +38 & +35 . Oh well i could always run spacers if need be ! cheers everyone

    That's the spirit!

BTW, noticed you're in Merrylands. I'm in the Merrylands West area (near Coolibah Gym) but haven't seen your car around!
