    Back end is back alright..

Most of you won't remember, but some of you may. My Mk3 2.0 is being reincarnated for my son who turned 17 recently. I bought the car in 2004..

    bought some wheels

    tried them on the polo

    went for a drive

    installed a tv

    was going great..

sold her and bought my first GS, my first of six Lexus's in the last few years. Had a little mishap..

after that GS i bought another much much lamer car, hated it! swapped it with the guy I originally sold my MK3 after 5 weeks and drove my MK3 around again! Until the hub went..

    then I got another GS

and this weekend after a lot of water under the bridge, an aqua donor car and a little effort we managed to swap axles.
thus killing many birds with one stone, fresh shocks from the donor car, fresher brakes and most importantly a stub axle that wasn't completely buggered.

    So it begins...

The car will be cleaned up, little bits and pieces done and my kid can work it out as he goes along. I forgot how many little things I had done to this car! I missed working on it and am looking fwd to bringing my 2.slow back to it's former glory!

Awesome, good to see you've kept it, and are fighting to get it right to pass on, you almost lost it there for a second.

^ stayed at a mates last night, he still has that colourconcept three in, but it's not being used, I was checking it out this morning.

    Thanks Dude,

yeah i was thinking the same thing, it was getting hard. I thought maybe I should sell the MK3's, get him something that will be less work for me. But then I thought, hell no! I have the opportunity to do things to this car that I never had before. So, it's time to ride!
