As many have stated before.
The 2.25 exhuast from your local exhuast place will be 1/2 the price and just as good.
Just wondering how people like the catback for the 12V.
Check out these vids, is that pretty much the sound you get from it? Or is it not so great in real life?
Also, how does the system in the pic below fit on a VR6? Is it a good fit or is it hard to put on, and ill-fitting?
I am more interested in the sound and fitment of it than whether it gains extra hp to be honest. So as long as those issues are good, then I would say I am sold on it.

I'm a brand whore, but I just had the suitcase muffler deleted and I'm really really impressed. Cost me 50 bucks! Next step is that I might just get a nicer tip put on... but sound wise at the moment I'm happy.
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...
I disagree.
That exact kit cost me less than 700 to my door and it was almost 100% bolt on, so it was easy enough to do myself.
The first bit of piping that goes into the resonator is about 7 or 8 inches too long for our cars, it must be a different cat setup. I cut and re-welded the endpiece back on and it fit up just fine.
I love the sound of mine. It sits up really well against the body, really flush and clean, and it's got that magnaflow burble to it. I'd recommend it fo sho!

Yep this is what I was planning to stick on my VR6 before I sold it

Thanks a lot for the comments, I am not really interested in buying local or modifying the stock exhaust somehow. The car already had part of the stock system cut out when I bought it anyways.
I am not really bothered with price either, looked at a few places to order it, if it is under $700 shipped that won't blow my budget. Just looking to hear opinions of people who have this set up on how it fits/sounds.
And yeah the NA exhaust system must be different to the euro, they seem to want to do everything different over there.
Hi, I have that on my Virus.
Sounds sweet, expept you do get a bit of a drone on long distance if you keep the revs too low. I bought the back box and resonator of a supplier on e-bay. He did not advertice the exact ones, but I mailed him and he was able to get the correct one's for about 250 if I remember correct. had the pipes made-up and fitted for 250 odd. not to bad I think for 500. I have a cone on also, dont know how much that effects the sound.
I own this exact system. It is very droney and I want to take it off. However from outside it sounds FREAKEN AWESOME.
Fitment was OK but it needed some cutting to make it good.
If you have a stock zorst atm, yeah it'll make a difference but not heaps. I went from a very free flowing 2.5" system to the magnaflow setup and gained more torque but lost some top end. Not sure which I prefer tbh.

Be sure to replace the cat as well, since pretty much every VR6 has gone through some kind of overfueling issue, its bound to have a clogged cat. You'll find that'll make a bigger difference than just a cat-back on an older car.
