You know you can fix the regs with a cable tie and a thin dowel or something?
Or are your regs broken in a different way?
Yep, another one bites the dust! I think I have one more to go and then they will all have been replaced with brand spanking new ones. Even the other one has been replaced, but was back in the day before I discovered new ones so was a second hand unit.
Many thanks (as usual) to Matt from Camden GTI and they boys there who whipped in a shiny new regulator for me on the spot and I was back on my way with a window that went both down AND up
To everyone who has a busted window reg, spend the few extra $$ on a new genuine unit rather than a second hand unit and achieve near silent, perfectly smooth operation for the next 10 years!

It depends which part breaks, but yes I'm aware of the few different hacks that can be done... and have done most of them over the years
This one has already had the main plastic wheel replaced once, this time round that was going again but more to the point the steel cable itself was way too toasted.
