    Another VR6 the ranks

This is my new 94 VR6, this is my first post ever so bare with me,
it has about 160k on the clock.

the only problems ive had so far with it are
-aircon (had it re-gassed but needs a new compressor.)
-cruise control (Only works when there is no need for it)
-fuel consumption (not sure if that counts)
-It made me lose my licence a week after owning it!

ill try to post some pics but they might not work.

    enjoy

Very nice VR mate, my favourite colour on the MK3, looks great.

Shame you've lost your license already, but guess it gives you time to spend some cash on mods and fixing those few problems

Yeah i went from a 1975 998cc mini to a 2.8l vr6 it was a considerable amount of power difference.

Nah thanks for the offer but i kinda like it better without the arches i was considering taking the front ones off, anyone know what it looks like without them?
If you had the trim that goes along the side underneath the doors on the drivers side i would be interested.

I too have a 94 VR6... it seems like 90% of VR's are from the 94 model year. Nice colour for a mk3, what are the details on those wheels? I don't mind them too much, will look good if you decide to change the ride height a bit. Are they 16's or 17's? Pretty much all 5 spoke wheels look good on a mk3.

Theyre 17" Antera rims they look pretty good from afar but step forward a few meters and you will see that they have the most gutter rash youve ever seen.

im looking at new set so if anyone has any ideas id be happy to see some examples.

oh yeah and ive been thinking about lowering just the front it seems to be sitting a bit higher than the back.

Unfortunately that's because the retards that made golfs gave it huge front rake...ie if the wheel clearance is the same your car is angled forward. It can look good, but most don't like it and it's just generally nicer to have a level car.

Welcome aboard mate, nice car you have, hope you can get used to that almighty go pedal!

thanks for the tip. the back shocks seem to hit pretty hard on the highway so i thought it was because of that but i did have 3 ppl in the back. and i like most others do enjoy my car better if it is level.
