Remove the light and fit a blank?

Have to say there's bound to be some ADR that says you can't though.

The ABS can probably be fixed. I have VAG-COM if you want it scanning, check you have a diagnostic socket near your ashtray.

To get trid of the lights you can either fix the problem, or "fix" the problem.

You can pop the ABS/Air Bag light bit out and unplug it, which will get rid of that pesky light. Will also solve the problem of the air bag light if you replace the wheel too...

Technically it's not legal to remove a safety device (like an airbag) but thats not to say lots of people don't do it anyway.

ABS is one of those things that can either be really simple and easy to fix (like a wheel speed sensor or dry joints on a plug) or REALLY expensive...
