It will be a leaf fallen in....try putting the fan on full speed with hot air...usually the leaf goes brittle and ends up chopped up and spits out the vents if you are lucky...usually works...VDUB...
I decided to change my cabin filter last night (black as all F..K). Removed old one, replaced with new one, all donr in 5 minutes.
When I went to turn on the fan this Morning, the fan now makes a noise as it is spinning. if you turn the phone to 2,3,4.. the noise gets louder ans the fan turns faster..
I doubt that changing the filter would cause this noise. I pulled the filter out and tested again and it still makes the noise. Possible something could have fallen down the duct when removing the old one like a leaf or something which is knicking the fan itself which would then cause the noise.?
Anyone else experienced this problem?
Any help appreciated...

Yeah, I'd say some of the crap that was sitting on top of the old filter has fallen in, and made its way down to the fan.
Easy to do, given the location. As mentionened, blast it out on the #4 setting.

sweet. i might even get a can of pressurised air and try and blast the **** out. On the up note, force in which air comes out of vents has improved 100%
mine dropped down from its base and sreamed so i removed fan and put in 3 self tappers to hold it with contact cement to retain them 4 ever
(if it's a serious probl.)
