I'm thinking of retrofitting ABS from a donor Toledo to my golf which I am working on.

Is this electronically possible? The BCM in the golf would have to link to the ABS unit from the donor car or could I use the BCM from the donor car as well. But then I would need to link all the other modules to the donated BCM?

Or is this more hassle than it's worth?
