97 Mk3 TDi Hydraulic Clutch Top Up/ Check?

    Hi All

I have noticed that my clutch pedal does not come back out fully once pushed in after the car is sitting idle for a few days. It seems to sit at the 3/4 position, it is ok once I have pumped it a few times though and comes out all the way as it should

    1. Does my TDi have a hydraulic clutch?
    2. Where do I fill/ check the resevoir
    3. What does this pedal movement/ restriction mean

    Thanks

I reckon they are cable operated, not hydraulic. Hydraulic ones get their fluid from the brakes reservoir. Could be a sign the cable is on the way out.
