Ok so i starting to get worried a little now about my vr6.
the few things that are worrying me are:
- a little rattle in the engine bay, i can hear it most when i am lightly pressing the throttle in drive.
- The tranny is the biggest scare atm, its starting to shift really roughly, from 1st to second(when its shifting at about the 2k rpm mark) it kind of makes the whole car thud, and sometimes when shifting in any gear the rpm's rise like 200rpm in the middle of the shift. Does this sound like its shat itself? Anybody know if a manual conversion can be done, at what price and anyone know someone in melbourne that can do it?
- The steering is creaking a little when i turn the wheel at low speeds, sounds like its more in the controller arms than near the steering wheel.
I may have to hold off on all the mods, if i get a decent quote to fix it all up including the tranny, then i may do it and sell it then buy a manual vr6.
all i know is i'll always want a vr6. lol
