'95' golf vr6 engine cut out problem?

Hi guys just got the mark 3 regoed and the engine has cut out twice now. There's no shutter or noises when it happens but I think it may be heat related as it won't start until it gets below 100° is there some cut out if the engine gets hotter than 110°? Or could it be electrical as the hazards don't work nor the indicators or lights. Along with that it sounds like all the relays in the dash are going odd as well wich makes me wonder if it's a electrical problem? Does anyone here know what's going on??

Engine speed sensor. G28. Altough have to agree Ign switch is really common. Do it anyway as preventative

Cheers guys so far going to replace ignigtion switch and the ecu relay. Might as well check the engine speed sensor while I'm at it.
