    Cambelt change on a 16v is no different to an 8v!!

    Well then you have missed a cog mate. Plus the belt is more expensive.

    This is getting funny.

    I prefer 16v myself but like the MK1 more and the conversion isn't worth the dollars as the difference doesn't justify the cost.

    So I love 16v but happy with an 8v mk1.

    In a mk3 an 8v just isnt as fun to drive as a 16v full stop.
