    Met a dude with a mk3 16v on our last perth cruise, lordy does that thing fly! Loves to rev too.

    I don't imagine it would have been, and thats why its its treated in almost as the same way as the VR6 in a three i.e. respected with a considerable following... Its still no 1.8T mind you.

    a 16v will give a VR a good run for its money. mid range on the VR is very stronge but a point to point run would be fun!!!
