    2.0L overheating

    Hi Guys,

I may have an overheating problem. Usually the temp gauge sit in the middle at 70 degrees, now it moves beyond that sometimes all the way to 110 degrees. When pulled into my garage i could heard a sound that is best described like water hissing. I opened bonnet and i could hear something like air escaping. Just near the head, its a bit moist but its not oil.

What could cause this? there is no loss of power, car doesn't feel sluggish. Thermo fans turn on and run fine. Its a hot day today and my car feels perfectly fine.

Any ideas? Could it be that coolant pipe has got a small hole in it or something? Coolant level looks fine, but i might top it up.

    Cheers

Same thing happened to me. More than likely its your water pump.
