hey,, manual gearbox, joe put one in last year, and had a new head put in as well ,have all reciets from way back!!!! the remus exhaust is quiet but sweet, thats the way i prefer... have snow flake rims on the gti too,and a champion momo steering wheel , just needs a cat converter:)

It used to be auto and had a cracked head, I did the full conversion for my mate in my back yard! I had a donor smashed VR6.
Is the passenger window tinted yet? We had to smash it once when Macca lost the key in a Taxi! Doh.
That starter has been noisy for 2 years mate.

yeah will stay tuned for that drive!!!its maccas vr6 i bought a couple of days ago,top fella, people were reallykeen on the car so i had to get there early and took it around the block for 5 min and returned with others interested!!
and hopped out and said sold, there was a bit off dissapoinment,not for me tho:)all the windows are tinted few nics here and there but hey for $3ooo!!!

gee:eek: power steering fitting from the filler tank to the inlet pump has giveway took it off yesterday the dicast fitting which i thought may have been the o ring!!! looked a bit closer and there is a fracture where the o ring sits.
Can i get a dicast fitting for it or does it have to be a complete pump ?hmmm any answer would be great ...... cheers
got that power steering sorted out !went to a place in cannington on clapham st got the part for ten buks without having to get a new or s/hand pump... they have a vr6 at the back of the yard all moter gearbox and bbs wheels most parts are still there !! also they have 2.8 vr6 engine from japan which has done 53000klm !! they want $1200 numerous audi parts too,,,,, i think they want to move the engine on ? some one out there should grab asap... i would if had the dosh for a back up...
Wow, 53,000km isnt much! Would be perfect base to build a strong motor on for some FI action.

the place in cannington is called volkshop, got a k/n pod filter today and man does that make a difference in the exhaust note once you go above 4000rpm i could say its similar to the r32 i was in the other nite.....
