    16" wheels on a mk3? Please Help

    I have bought a mk3 2.0 and am thinking of putting some 16x8 et 35 rims on it... will these fit ok i just need to know before i buy them.... Thanks

    yes i have 16x8 et30 and they're a good fitment, just make sure the brakes fit

    OK thanks so will they need spacers or anything?

    If the brakes don't fit, yes.

    then if you get spacers, you may need guard work as offset will change

    Ive run 17x9 et 40 and 20 and its no problems on stock brakes, aggressive look!

    Will specs have nothing to do with brake clearance unfortunately.
    I'm guessing the proposed wheels are a secret

    If you run coilovers may need a spacer up front depending on tyre size!
