    installed

i also received my new jetex exhaust the other week so i figured kill two birds with one stone

the old was a remus with a magnaflow cat but was only 2 inch
the new is 2.5 inch all the way through
42 draft design 2.5 inch high flow cat
    jetex non resonated 2.5 inch
pretty much a strait pipe from the cat to the rear mid muffler
    hopefully wont be too loud

Nice work Pete, good to see your getting stuck into this yourself!
Whats the main advantage of the O2J shifter over the standard O2A?

    thanks man
its just a newer ball joint design

My reasons for performing this swap are:
    -More precise shift feel
-Much less 'slop' than the factory 02A stuff
-Readily available short shift setups (TT shifter, B&M, Diesel Geek etc).
-Readily available parts (from any 02J car).

also will reduce gear crunching due to no slop.

Nice work Pete. Is the cable bracket on top of the gearbox from the 02J as well?

    Cheers

yeah mate the whole shift assembly is 02j

what a difference the exhaust has made !!
more power across the rev range plus its quieter with no drone at all...wow
surprised as it is a larger exhaust
at 885 shipped to my door its a very worthwhile upgrade

well it got my attention but I had nothing to add so left it alone. Looks like a worthwhile swap

How loud is the exhaust? As much as I want to go the opposite direction and make mine louder, neighbours and such are starting to complain to the police about mine and its just stock without the suitcase :S
