You know you drive a mk2 when after 29 years it has sooooooo many spliced wires under the dash.

"..." when half the spliced wires do.... nothing.

"..." when you pull tonne of wiring out and it still runs.

"..." when you drive over a bump and the rattle stops... for a while.

You know you drive a mk2 when you see the rear sway bar still sitting in the shed that you haven't fitted yet because the handling is so good.

You know you drive a lowered Mk2 when you catch people looking at it as you drive past but you're not sure if they're checking out the car, or just looking because they can hear the CVs binding just as much as you can.

When as soon as you threaten to sell it, parts spontaneously start breaking.

When working on newer cars, thinking this job would be soooooo much easier on the MK2.
