I believe my main problem is the taco.
I am currently getting the signal from the ecu and i need to get it via the alternator ??

My MK2 has a MK3 dash and therefore runs MK3 Instrument Cluster.
I am trying to refit the MK2 setup but the wiring is very different and so I have thought about running Digifiz Instruments.
Wondering if the wiring setup for Digifiz is the same as a MK3 ??
Anyone got any tips ????

Tacho impulse comes from the ignition coil . nothing to do with the alternator...
Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...
If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??
