I prefer trim off with fussy wheels like RS and trim on when running simple borbet design etc. That hasn't helped huh

I agree with Rob, and I don't like fussy wheels so it's trim on for my car(But color and other variables come into play aswell)

I say leave it until you've lowered it and got some rims on it, then make your mind up.

Hmmm... Thanks for the feedback guys, it's food for thought. I think this is the option that most appeals to me ^^^^^

Coilovers will be arriving soon(ish) so I'll have a better idea of how she's gonna look, then have a rethink.

I do like my clean look though...

I had all the trim on my mk2 three door GTI with the small bumpers, and now i have removed it all and converted to fully smoothed and colour coded big bumpers and havn't looked back! Its a personal choice, i love the look of all the mk2's, my biggest wish is to get a rallye front end with de bagded grill mmmmmm.....

Hey Cam, mate I'm going to be throwing a set of the Hottuning coils on (instead of making do with lowering springs until I have more cash...) just to give it a less tractor-like stance...

For example, see sig pic

john let me tell you, they go LOW

my mk2 is now lower than the one in your sig pic and hence i cant jack it up or turn the steering wheel more than a few degrees left or right... gonna be tricky getting it out of the garage lol. but all worth it
