    Wheels for the Mk2 GTI

Been looking around for some BBS style wheels, and have found these at Tempe Tyres, I think they would look great on the MKII GTi

    what do you think?

    and for something different

    cheers,

The first ones are what a mate of mine has on his 5stud verada not sure if you could get them in 4 stud. They look good though.

The second ones would be great,

on a CRX. They'd look cheap on a VW after 6 months. But thats my opinion.

Thanks AusGolfer, your probably right about the second set they would look rather dated and cheap after a while.

As for the first ones they are my first choice and I am going today to check them out. btw luckily I have the VR6 5 stud conversion.

    Cheers.

14x7 and et22. Would fill out the arches of a mk1/2 nicely.

17's look good but depends on how low u want to go on the mk11 mines been lowered 65mm and with the 17's i have rubs with 2 largish people in the back and fronts rub on a half turn when riding over a bumpy road slightly annoying but 17's look cool

the largest id ever put on a mk2 would be 16". anything bigger and it just doesnt look right, imo.

Unless you have reasonable power, bigger than 15s ruin the dynamics of the car completely in my opinion.

I have driven cars with up to 17s on and the definitely prefer the 15s.
