Its another CPS playing silly games with me... So I took another look at wiring and cleaned up behind the T28.
The CPS failed when up to temp again, so its one more CPS before I assume theres something wrong on the flywheel.
I'd used spiral wrap and it melted behind the head. This was a while ago and I wrapped in linen and strapped in Silicon Tape. It held up well and after a few fixes with soldering iron, it was rewrapped in Silicon tape and put back nice and tidy. Sadly, the Implausible G28 signal remains.

Went looking for a water leak somewhere under the oil filter. Easiest way to get to all the plumbing was to remove the filter so may as well do an oil change while I'm there. Had to jack up the car to remove the sump plug so decided to swap the wheels at the same time.
Once all that was done I found the leak, fixed it, found a few more problems with the plumbing including the tubes for the windscreen washer and fixed them as well.
Only took 4 hours.
My wife can't understand why it takes so long to fix anything on my car.

Age makes it a domino effect!
New wheels and sensible tyres went on last week.
New wiper blades all round yesterday.
I specialise in iPotatography with this car... every photo I have is ****e.
Age has nothing to do with it. I fitted "sensible" wheels/tyres on mine because my teenage kids complained about the harsh ride. I don't mind the hard suspension. It means I can go faster through the corners and I'm 4 x older than the kids.![]()

oh I meant age is a factor in finding one issue, fixing it and in that process noticing something else that needs attention![]()
