What is an average condition 4 door gti worth?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask such a noob question , but i'm curious to find out how much an 'average' condition 4 door gti is worth ? i.e. registered, running , but could need some tlc.

I've heard of one locally that is meant to be for sale, but price unknown... Just looking for a rough guide, as there aren't exactly many of these for sale to compare with.

$2000 for an average one in Sydney, they are all getting pretty old and have 250ks on em.
