Question WANTED: Expert knowledge to aid in my attempt to build a 1.8t Mk2

    guys,
as some of you know, i have recently purchased a Mk2 from tassie. its currently a 8v with 360k kms on it and still putting on really well, however like most cars ive owned, nothing stays standard for long. after much discussion with fellow peers, ive decided to go for a 1.8t wheel spinning, torque steering, tissue box. i have access to a well built 1.8t however i need help with clarifying what i need and processes.
as per subject titled, i am looking for anyone out there who has done or is an expert on doing this conversion. i know there is not many people in this community however its worth an EOI. I have done extensive searches and spent numerous nights reading up build threads however there are still some areas which are unanswered.

if there is anyone who would help, please PM me.

Golfloon put one in his Scirocco. He also swapped a working 1.8T into one Ibiza from a wrecked converted one.

Please whatever you do, don't fit standalone management on it. It's fraught with complications. You can use the std ECU and looms if you get the immobiliser defeated. You can have all the diagnostics and everything.

It's under a $1000 to have a Phase 2 tune on a Polo GTI ECU and have the immobiliser defeated. Even cheaper if you use a Golf/A3 AGU engine.
