Like Spyda I felt crap inside when I saw the wreck. I know there are loads of Golf 2's in the world but to see one destroyed is heart breaking.
Glad you are ok and that the car held up in the accident. Also that your folks understood
Hopefully you can pick up a V5 Bora at auction

Re Tim's GTI
Hi All,
I Have brought Tim's GTI at the Pickles Auction and will be transfering the parts into a 87 Golf GS import from Japan I had bought several months back.
I had watched Tims progress with the car and was shocked and sad to see it in the shape it was in cars in the Whats onEbay area of the forum.
I went and had a look on wednesday and every thing was there, however someone has taxed the face of the head unit when I went and looked at it again after I brought it. spewing as my wife wanted the head unit for her 4x4.
The car will be coming home tommorrow,
You are a very lucky guy not to be hurt and to walk away.
All the best with your future project
Regards,
