    sticky clutch pedal.

I couldnt find anything with the search function...

my clutch pedal all of a sudden just stayed flat down on the floor while i wasdriving today, very annoying to drive with. would it be a problem with the cable or maybe the pedal itself? would it be an easy fix/replace or am i goin to have to fork for this one?
    any thought would be appreciated

sounds like the clutch cable is screwed, or caught on something...

Test the cable first. Get someone to press the pedal and see if the lever moves on the side of the gearbox.
If no, then there us a problem with the cable.
If yes then before pulling the box out, take the green cap of the end of the gearbox and check the finger is not broken inside the box, very common.
If it is pushing the rod up the centre of the box, and the clutch is not engaging then the box needs to come out.
A bit of diagnosis now can save you untold time and money.

the lever moves on the gear box, had alook under the dash and seems the cable is fraying against a placstic bushing just above the pedal. i guess i just need to get it replaced? where can i get one for a cheap TOMOROW?
