    For Sale: 1990 Mk2 GTI

Tried to post this in the For Sale section but unfortunately had no luck. Would appreciate it if someone could move on my behalf...Thanks.

I'm selling my 1990 MK2 GTI. It's an Australian-delivered 8v 5-door hatch with about 196xxx km on the clock. It would be a reluctant sale but I have a company car now so it doesn't get driven. Prior to that it was my reliable daily that was lots of fun and cheap to run...

Purchased from a fellow forum member about two years ago. Extras include BBS RA rims, spare parcel shelf (was going to install speakers but never did), original radio, original wheels and Bentley service manual.

I've posted a few images below but you will find more on this Flickr page.

Looking for $3700 without RWC or $4700 with RWC (don't think it will cost $1k but I'll struggle to find time to arrange the inspection). Victorian rego until November 2013.

If anyone is interested let me know and I'll add more info. You can reach me here or on 0409 433 587.

    Cheers,
    Sean

If only you were in WA. Sadly I can't justify the transport costs...

SOLD! Will be sorry to see it go...

Got loads of interest. Was it too cheap? Am interested to know what you experts think.

Funnily enough, the chap who bought it lives in Perth and purchased it unseen. We will be freighting it across the Nullarbor.

Not sure, to be honest. I just added $1k to the price as it was difficult to arrange an inspection due to work. I also wanted to make sure I was covered for regular RWC issues like windscreen, headlight adjustment, etc.

It's a bargain I reckon, that's why it was a quick sale. Nowaday moderator of this forum don't enforce classified section rule also helped you to get this through. Congratulation
