    Just read from start to finish, and gotta say im loving waht you're doing bro !! Great to see another young guy with an early vw Im on my greens in a few weeks too haha ! But yeah all seriousness, love the motivation you have, and that you dont just mod the car, rather, you fix all the little issues it has, and making it very special. Keep it up mate !

    Just a bit of insulation, with a cut up stubby cooler, wrapped in aluminum tape and then some cloth tape as a final layer.
    Looks sus, but I've seen US guys wrap their entire A/C gas line (cold side) in proper, dual layer insulation tape.

    As usual, just some more maintenance work.

    Swapped in a MK3 weighted shift rod, woah, what an improvement in shifting/feel!
    Thanks to kideuro for that

    Purchased a hydraulic rear engine mount (thanks to discussion on ED38 ) and had that installed.
    Again, big improvement in drive-ability when the engine isn't jumping around the bay.


    ^Old mount wasn't terrible but needed replacement.
    The hydraulic damper was actually in good condition apart from the completely melted/FUBAR'd rubber bushing on one end!

    Threw in a K&N panel filter, just for laughs (the paper filter was due for a change)

    Stiggy, have fun with those solid mounts haha.
