Where'd you get it, gauges as well.

Our oil temp in the MFA is un reliable. It goes up and down with the cabin fan speed. I'd like to have a proper reading etc. Yours is the neatest I've seen without deleting the radio.

    Cheers

We made the mounting plate ourselves from some thin aluminium, then just painted it with some VHT wrinkle paint.
Have a look back here, http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...tml#post601003

I have seen premade panels on ebay UK that claim to fit in the same location.
Rough search, mk2 golf gauge | eBay

I bought my gauge's (voltmetre, oil pressure) through Greg Roles (on here) as he's a supplier for 42 Draft Designs.

I don't think I have that probmlem with my MFA, sounds like a grounding issue?

Those factory radiator pipe clamps can go to hell too!

Note the corrosion on the oil cooler outlet*

You like to work on your car naked? You should get yourself some shoes at least (OH&S?)

A lot of respect for you mate for having the courage to tackle these issues on your own!

Decided to copy Wade and Eric (to an extent) and replace the overflow bottle.

    Old vs new

And now you can actually see the raspberry cordial G12

New top and bottom hoses too.

I have a feeling you photo touched every pic of your car LOL, your old bottle doesn't look too bad and the new one is exceptionally white but it does bring up a fresh look of the engine bay.
