I am in the process of replacing the original cork rocker cover gasket with a upgraded rubber MK3 gasket. This means replacing the shoulder bolts and its giving me issues. These are the bolts in question;
The other bolts came out quite easily using some vice grips but these two won't budge. Anybody got an ideas how i can get them out?
Wind on two nuts and tighten the lower one while holding the top one with the spanner (you need two ring spanners), then with the spanner on the lower nut unscrew the stud. There are also special sockets for that task. But this is how you do it without it.
