Replacement seat alternatives

My Mk2 GTI has done 160,000k's and the drivers seat has had it! I was wondering what options are available.
I know that there is a fair bit of Seat interchangability between the Audi, VW and SEAT car models. But which seats from which models will fit?
Also there is the option of Bucket seats with mounting frames and runners. Any ideas where to get the mounting frames from for this model?

it's not too hard to make mk3 seats fit, also anything from a mk1/mk2 (obviously) including scirocco, corrado. SEAT seat bases are the same as mk3.
