    Rallye head lights and grill

    Hi all, i would love to get a rallye head lights and debaged grill set up for my mk2, i know they are expensive as all f#@k but has anyone found a conversion kit at a reasonble price?

    Best bet is to try ebay.de I reckon if you can win the bid and someone that will post, although still rather high in price like this one already near 500 euro without the grill.

    The light output is very poor on those Rallye headlights. You need to fit a relay kit as a minimum and wire it so the dip beam is held on when you go to main beam.

    Fitting big wattage bulbs is a no-no as they over heat the dip beam lamp and can crack the lens. I have seen this happen when using a steam cleaner on the front of one. A costly error!!

    Surely a Jetta front end would be cheaper from the states? and almost look the same..... with a bit of electrical tape lense eyebrows

    I have a feeling that there are 1 or 2 Jetta grills floating around the place as I have had this idea before & made some enquiries (try Jayco)

    But really I think that the VW design gods know best & just don't play dice

    I have done some searching for the In-Pro aftermarket rallye head lights but i cant find them, do you have any links for a store i can source them through.
